Program Yearbook
The RHSM – Annual Program Yearbook
The Official name of the RHSM Yearbook is “The Program Yearbook”. We have coined the words ‘program’ and ‘yearbook’ because this is exactly what the RHSM yearbook exemplifies.
Each year we produce a program-yearbook. The most important purpose of this book is to build and encourage student growth through recognition and honor.
Our students come from a wide geographic area, and offering both in-home and in-studio teaching programs do not allow our students the opportunity for much social interaction. Plus, our annual master class and audition events only offer limited opportunities for social interaction.
Our program yearbook offers students and parents the opportunity to be knowledgeable about the accomplishments of other students in our school.
Students’ growth and accomplishment are showcased via biographical data. Each year our Top Performers are given a ‘Full Page’ spread of their accomplishments not only in music and piano performance but in other areas of his/her growth – both artistic and academic excellence.
Our yearbook and program interface, and as a result student growth, piano performance and piano accomplishment become meaningful and tangible. Our program yearbook makes our annual recitals ‘real, magical and dynamic’.
