ELIZABETH FULLINGTON

Elizabeth Fullington is the Owner and C.E.O. of the Ruby Holland School of Music and Founder of the Ruby Holland Foundation for the Arts.
Elizabeth has been involved with education for over 40 years. Her music education began in her mother’s studio after which she completed her LRSM (Licentiate of Music) under the auspices of the Royal Schools of Music and later studied under celebrated pianist, Mr. William Hackett of Bridgetown, Barbados. Elizabeth also possesses a Bachelors Degree in Education, a further enhancement to her teaching style and methods.
Elizabeth believes in music being functional and that it should be taught like any other language. It’s the art of sound and her students are taught the importance of listening to their music. Of great importance also is their understanding of the basic rudiments of music training both practical, performance and written and this was evident in the 2007 publication of book “Young Composers of Central Florida” which comprised of 22 music compositions of her students.
