- SUMMER SCHOOL 2011
Music Enrichment Program - Month of June
Sessions will run from Wednesday, June 1st through Thursday, June 30th. 2011. Each student will complete 4 lessons. As usual we will plan sessions to suit parent schedules. Please let me know what your preferences are so that I can prepare my schedule to accommodate yours. Some suggestions: in the past students have opted to have 4 lessons in June [1 each week]; OR 4 lessons in 4 consecutive days [1 each day]; OR 4 lessons in 2 weeks [2 lessons per week].
Please remember that summer sessions are optional but highly recommended since they do offer students an added advantage for accelerated growth and progress. 12 [Twelve] weeks of no piano during summer months tend to impede student growth.
FYI:
Billing for month of June is done separately. You will receive your June Invoice after you have confirmed your child’s attendance.DAYS:
Mondays through Thursdays
TIMES:
Mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.Note: Payment for Summer Classes become due on June 1st, 2011. I am asking each parent to respond by email whether or not you plan to have your child participate.

Music Composition Camp
WHEN - TBD: [2 SESSIONS].
Our session is broken down into 2 individual sessions of 2 weeks per sesson.
Each week comprises of a 12-hour work schedule of 3 days of 4 hours each day.PLUS an additional 1 day of 2 hours for student demo and presentation.SESSION 1 - Time: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

WHO CAN ATTEND - Participants:
Junior and senior RHSM students are encouraged to enroll. Our youngest student in 2007 was 5 years old.ARRIVAL TIME: Please arrive at 9:00 a.m. Not before 8:45 a.m.
[2 - 15 mins breaks with snacks provided]MATERIALS: Composition Manuscript paper and pencil sharpener supplied by teacher. Students need to have several #2 pencils, eraser, and ruler.
REGISTRATION
Fees include a non-refundable deposit [or processing fee of $100 per family].
[Space limited to 6 students per session. Early registration is suggested to secure a place for your child].Please choose which weeks are suitable for you. Activities will be fully focused on music theory and composition. If you would like your child to participate and find a conflict with the afore-mentioned schedule, please advise me so we can work to best accommodate your needs.
